Our Awesome Team

Melissa Sabella - Founder/CEO

Throughout my career I’ve been focused on learning with impact through scientific design, digital intervention and cutting edge content.

Twelve years in Product and Innovation at Pearson US and UK, working in markets across the world, gave me a global perspective and an acute understanding of how innovation happens in large organisations.

I joined Reed Learning in 2014 to tackle professional development in an area where learning could be applied immediately in the real world. I led on product, strategy and innovation with ultimate responsibility for the long term vision of the company and delivery of the learning experience.

In 2016 I founded The Honeycomb Works, a development partner for organisations who need to drive behavioural change for business transformation. It uses a unique framework and visual tool to organise and deliver diagnostics, coaching, workshops and digital support in learning.

Muireann Bird - Researcher and Consultant

Muireann is a researcher, facilitator and DEI consultant at The Honeycomb Works. Her research interests include effective, evidenced based ways to create inclusive cultures with a particular focus on the experiences of the LGBTQ+ community.

She particularly enjoys creating interactive workshops drawing on research around the use of narrative and empathy to create lasting change through engaging experiences. Her research and design approach is influenced by an MA from Goldsmiths in Critical and Creative analysis.

“I love being part of the Honeycomb Works because I believe that the work that we do has a real impact on people, improving their experiences in work and that's pretty important”.

Tijana Obradovic - Product Manager

After almost nine very industrious years at Pearson Education through which I built my expertise in project and event management, market development and research, I have stepped into freelancing zone where I have been for the last couple of years.

As a freelancer I managed to blend my different interests, passions and skills to expand my work portfolio in education, digital media and products, culture and arts. Leadership on delivery of thorough research projects, analyses and reports; development of business opportunities; management of client relationships; localisation management; production of theatre projects; and research on culture and arts prospects, are some examples from my portfolio.

I thrive in diversity of work and in wearing different hats. My professional approach is branded by a strong work ethic, commitment and efficiency regardless of a working environment. For me, every new opportunity is a positive challenge and I make things happen. I love learning by doing and find experience to be the best teacher.

Lynn Abhulimen - DEI Consultant & Facilitator

Lynn is invested in inclusion, particularly advocating for black inclusion and works to improve and highlight the ethnic experience in the workplace.

With a background in Marketing, Events Management, Project Management and Business Development, Lynn uses her skills and widespread experience to manage client projects and create meaningful experiences through facilitated events for The Honeycomb Works.

Lynn joined The Honeycomb Works because she is invested in moving from words to action and excited to be able to work with an organisation that focuses primarily on changing behaviours and doing so based on evidence derived from their own research.

Ola Ojuko - DEI Consultant & Marketing Lead

Ola is invested in transforming workplaces into inclusive spaces for everyone, with a focus on anti-Black racism.

With a background in secondary school education (English and Media Studies), Ola uses her skills to create engaging content for both events and marketing materials at The Honeycomb Works.

She is currently completing her Master's degree in Education: Culture, Language, and Identity at Goldsmiths, University of London and hopes to use the insights gained during her studies to inform her DEI practice.

Ola enjoys working with The Honeycomb Works because “it’s exciting to be part of a company that is truly invested in making workplaces a safe environment for everyone with a group of people that are committed to learning and growing”.

Parth Loliyania - UX Designer and Researcher

He is currently pursuing a MA in User Experience Design at UAL London College of Communication.

In the past, Parth has worked with multinational companies like Deloitte Digital and Tata Elxsi, where he has contributed to building a research-led practice. He often works on pro-bono projects with start-ups and small businesses to help them understand the value of design that lies beyond aesthetic appeal and problem-solving.

Parth loves working with The Honeycomb Works because “it’s a safe place that views diversity as a strength to understand different perspectives which contribute in creating inclusive experiences”
